« This place is a dump! The hotel staff was good, but the hotel is a dump. If I was offered to stay there again for no charge, I still would not stay there. Hotel is old, rundown, smells bad, walls cracked. Owners have not invested anything to keep up the property. Stay away! »

« The room first assigned to us had a smell of heavy cleaning agent and a bit of moldy. We asked for a change of room the next day, they happily did that, fortunately. But it was not a good experience the first night. There was no hot food available for the breakfast. »

« Well maintained »

« AC was good, staff very friendly, parking good »

« This is a wonderful and affordable option in Brenham. The rooms have been recently renovated and wood floors have been installed. A good parking lot that is well lite. The pool is very clean with a security fence. TV reception and channel options (Direct TV) are great. The rooms are extremely large and very quiet. »

« I stayed 2 nights. Roaches in room and towels were not replaced after I had used them from the night before and wanted fresh towels. »

« The large colonial style home was beautifully maintained and the themed rooms very spacious with private bathrooms. The host was so welcoming and the hot home cooked breakfast delicious. The location and views were stunning. »

« Highly recommend staying at the Dixie Motel! The owners have thought of everything from fantastic water pressure in the shower to freshly made tea and other snacks in the fridge. The room was very clean and homey. »

« Tony has created an exceptional environment. It’s a tranquil escape that provides lodging. It’s worth staying there just to meet Tony and admire his craftsmanship. »

« Very convenient location to Round Top shopping. Room was clean and comfortable. Lauren was always very quick to respond to any questions. »

« Beautiful house, the hostess was amazing, took very good care of us. The gardening was top notch and the room was clean. Better than hotel quality. »

« Wonderful breakfast. Quiet and serene. Perfect for a reset. Close to a lot of activities »
